Digital Fabric Printing for NYFW!

At stylecouncil, there is no other week quite like New York fashion week! We love checking out all of the runway shows and getting inspired by the seasons hottest trends for our original print collection.

This season we had the pleasure of digitally printing fabric for two of our New York fashion week favorites!

What you might not know is that we also have a highly advanced in house digital fabric printing department and CAD team available to assist designers in getting the job done in time for runway (or retail) magic.

Back to School in Style

As everyone seems to be gearing up for fall and back to school, we at the stylecouncil have been taking note of the most popular fall trends. Take a look at some of our favorites below and to see more check out our Junior's Prints & Graphics board on Pinterest! 

Exotic Opulence

This season for fall we brought an element of sophistication to our print collection with this luxurious color story. 

Exotic Opulence combines rich teal and olive tones brightened with splashes of regal gold and a warm cream. A black ground platforms these exotic hues and ties everything together for a beautifully refined palette. We loved how this color feeling elevated our snake and decorative floral prints for a very glamourous and polished look.

Fall Paisley Inspiration

Paisley prints are always a staple here at the stylecouncil and this season is no different. We searched the latest Fall & Resort runway shows as well as the retail world to find the freshest paisley inspiration for our new Fall 15/16 collection. Here are some of our favorites!

Berry Harvest

We have fallen in love with a romantic berry toned palette for this upcoming fall season. Rich raspberry hues with splashes of blueberry and navy are paired with grey tints and a warm off-white base.

 

This regal combination was seen all over the fall runways at shows such as Carven, Burberry, Valentino and Paul Smith. We used these colors to add an air of sophistication to our floral and damask prints that are sure to bring a little piece of royalty to any wardrobe!

Indigo New York

Please visit our booth at the Indigo New York print show on Tuesday July 22nd & Wednesday July 23rd to be the first to preview our new fall collection!

 Every print purchase gets a free stylecouncil tote as modeled here by our office manager Becky.

 This year the show has been relocated to Pier 92 and is sure to be an inspiring event. Hope to see you there! 

Active Inspiration: Michael Chase

Here at the stylecouncil we were really inspired by Artist Michael Chase's work when developing new prints for activewear.  We love his use of color and texture which fits perfectly in with the current trend. Nike and Urban Outfitters new active wear line, Without Walls, have both done great abstracted textured prints for their lines. It's a great way to give color to any active lifestyle!
